Get Repeat Colonoscopy every 5 Years, Says Study
There is not an agreement among doctors about how frequently people should get colonoscopy after a negative colonoscopy. We have added a new Library article about a study just reported in The New England Journal of Medicine which attempts to answer this question. These researchers concluded that a repeat colonoscopy should be done every 5 years, after a negative colonoscopy for colon cancer.
